Katlyn & Eric had a beautiful spring day for their nuptials. Choosing St Louis for their celebration, the couple rented a quaint airbnb for morning prep & their first look, followed by a Catholic ceremony at the gorgeous Old Cathedral . Beautiful architecture inside and out, and the Couple chose to do family photos on the stairs between the massive columns on the exterior. A short walk to the St Louis Arch, we took the paved walkways lined with pink blooming trees, and captured relaxed photos of the Newlyweds. From there the Couple head to the historic loft, Windows On Washington St Louis. The loft space overlooks the street below and has amazing city views, from its ample windows and balcony. The room was dressed in ivory linens and tall centerpieces filled with lush greenery. Simple floral stems and candlelight dressed guest’s tables.
A favorite moment of the day was Katlyn’s incredibly moving words about her dad, who had recently passed.
The couple also chose not to have a large wedding party. They had a best man and maid of honor, during the ceremony and then guests of honor, a large group of their friends joined them for quick photos right before the reception. I love the fact that they made their day THEIR day with traditions of their own.
